Ramiro Bustamante Pastor is Greenport's Managing Director — a Mechanical Engineer with an M.Sc. in Port Management and Intermodal Transportation and more than 18 years of experience in port, marine and offshore oil & gas operations, including offshore support vessels, marine logistics, vessel operations, Marine Operations Integrity Assessment, technical inspections, HSEQ, compliance, safety, audit, emergency preparedness, operational risk and contractor oversight.
Mechanical Engineer with an M.Sc. in Port Management and Intermodal Transportation and more than 18 years of experience in port, marine and offshore oil & gas operations, including offshore support vessels, marine logistics, vessel operations, Marine Operations Integrity Assessment, technical inspections, HSEQ, compliance, safety, audit, emergency preparedness, operational risk and contractor oversight.
His professional background includes independent technical advisory and Marine Operations Integrity Assessment Services for offshore projects, providing continuous monitoring of offshore support vessels, operational and mechanical failure follow-up, vessel readiness, contractor performance assessment, corrective-action management, technical reporting and verification of safe return-to-service conditions.
His experience also includes technical On-Hire and Off-Hire vessel inspections, involving comprehensive vessel condition assessments, machinery and propulsion systems, navigation and communication equipment, safety systems, Dynamic Positioning systems where applicable, functional testing and sea trials.
He has progressively developed an advanced professional specialization in LNG marine operations, FSRU systems, Ship-to-Ship transfer, LNG cargo operations, Loading Master activities, marine terminal operations, maritime safety, HSEQ and operational risk, supported by specialized international training.
